Despite that victory Leii went down to third position due to points difference. Sibiu CSU at the other side still keeps top place with two games lost. Leii are looking forward to face Valcea (#5) in Ramnicu Valcea in the next round. Sibiu CSU will play on the road against Agronomia (#6) in Bucuresti and is hoping to win this game.
Important game to mention about took place in Galati. Eighth ranked Phoenix Galati (2-8) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 6th ranked Agronomia (3-6) 88-86 on Saturday evening. Phoenix Galati moved-up to seventh place. Agronomia at the other side keeps the sixth position with six games lost. Phoenix Galati will play against league's second-placed Ploiesti at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Agronomia will play against the league's leader Sibiu CSU (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
