Cluj Napoca was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Dutch power forward Emmanuel Nzekwesi (203-1997, college: ORU) fired 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Kris Richard (195-1989, college: Tulane) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Richard is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. International point guard Daron Russell (180-1998, college: Maryland) produced 28 points and Serbian center Dusan Miletic (213-1998) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Craiova was ahead by 13 points after three quarters before a 28-15 charge of Dinamo, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Craiova's 46 and made 21-of-27 charity shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Craiova was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Jonathan Stark (184-1995, college: Murray St., agency: Pensack Sports) nailed 30 points and 6 assists for the winning side and Ukrainian forward Viacheslav Bobrov (203-1992) accounted for 13 points and 14 rebounds. Dinamo B.'s coach Zydrunas Urbonas allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American point guard Sam Sessoms (182-1999, college: Coppin St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists and the other American import forward DeAndre Dishman (198-1998, college: MTSU) added 26 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Craiova in the defeat. Five Dinamo and four Craiova players scored in double figures.

They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Voluntari's 18. They outrebounded Voluntari 37-13 including a 29-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Lewis Sullivan (201-1995, college: UAB) stepped up and scored 21 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners and Ukrainian Oleksandr Lypovyy (203-1991) chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Rapid players scored in double figures. At the losing side American swingman Sacar Anim (196-1997, college: Marquette) responded with 19 points and the other American import point guard Mike Caffey (183-1993, college: LBSU, agency: Players Group) scored 6 points and 7 assists.
