TSU celebrate Superleague 1 title-May 14, 2025
CSKA-2 - TSU 74-86

TSU clinched their inaugural Superleague 1 title. They upset CSKA-2 in Moscow in the fourth game of the championship series to lift the historic trophy. TSU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 22 CSKA-2 turnovers. 28 personal fouls committed by CSKA-2 helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Point guard Vladislav Ilinov (182-1999) fired 20 points and 5 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. Kirill Krylov (197-2002) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four TSU players scored in double figures. Power forward Maxim Ilvovskiy (202-2002) produced 16 points and 6 rebounds and guard Daniil Klyuchenkov (199-2004) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

The standout center Nikita Ivanov earned the Center of the Year of the championship-winning Temp-SUMZ-UMMC Revda. He received multiple other awards, earned a spot in the First Team and Domestic Players Team and Defensive Team. Ivanov's excellent performance assisted his team in beating the CSKA 2 3 to 1 in the final series. He was previously named to Honorable Mention back in 2023 and voted to the First Team last year. Ivanov was voted Player of the Week in the league. He had almost 9 points and over 4 rebounds per game that season in the league. Ivanov's 19 points against the Zenit 2 were the most he scored in the 24 25 season.
