Edin Veskovic's triple-double lands him 2MLS Player of the Week award

33-year old forward Edin Veskovic (196-F-1993) had an amazing evening in the last round for KK Jagodina and receives a Hoops Agents 2MLS Player of the Week award for round 6.
He recorded a triple-double of 16 points adding also 11 rebounds and 10 assists, while his team crushed Proleter (#14, 1-5) with 19-point margin 102-83. Jagodina maintains the 8th position in Serbian 2MLS. Jagodina is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-3 record. In the team's last game Veskovic had a remarkable 88.9% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Jagodina, through which he has constantly improved. Veskovic has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 10.7rpg), assists (9th best: 4.2apg) and averages solid 1.2bpg and 61.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Stefan Jankovic (203-C-2004, agency: Octagon Europe) of OKK Krusevac. He is a center in his first season at Krusevac. He was a key player of Mega BG, leading his team to a 77-71 win against the lower-ranked Loznica (#15, 1-5). Mega BG needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 2 lost games. Bjelica has a great season in Serbia. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.8ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 8.3rpg (8th best). Petar Bjelica has also Serbian passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
