After 3 rounds played we can already see who rules in the LF Challenge and who belongs to weaker ones. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Coruna (2-1) in Badalona on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Joventut (3-0) 84-69. Joventut outrebounded Coruna 43-30 including 16 on the offensive glass. 29 personal fouls committed by Coruna helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for Mozambican forward Chanaya Pinto (185-2000, college: Penn State) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Guard Julia Rueda (176-2002) helped adding 11 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. The best for the losing side was swingman Ana Jimenez (175-2000) with 22 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Joventut is looking forward to face Ardoi in Zizur Mayor in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Coruna will play at home against Al-Qazeres and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very significant was Ardoi's (#2) 76-69 road victory against Al-Qazeres. It was an exceptional evening for Dominican Cesarina Capellan (178-2003) who led the winners and scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. Victoria Gauna accounted for 14 points and 7 rebounds. American swingman Chandler Prater (178, college: MSU) came up with 17 points and 8 rebounds for Al-Qazeres in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ardoi will play against Joventut in Badalona in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Al-Qazeres will play on the road against Coruna and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
NBF Castello (0-3) was outscored at home by Unicaja (2-1) with the biggest margin this round 80-47 on Saturday night. The best player for the winners was Sofia Galeron who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Brianna Jackson who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 3: Valencia 2 was destroyed by ISB on the opponent's court 74-51. Leon managed to outperform Logrono in a home game 69-60.
