Norrkoping Dolphins win the title - May 1, 2010

Playoff Finals, Game 4: Norrkoping Dolphins - Plannja Basket 97-83 (4-1)
Norrkoping Dolphins are the new Swedish Basketligan Champions after they have beaten Plannja 97-83 in Game 4. They have won the series 3-1 and most of the wins were comfortable. Hosts came out from the gate ready to play and have taken the game over from the opening tip-off. By the end of the first quarter they have already managed to build 29-22 lead. Tempo of the match slowed somehow, but it was still Norrkoping players who were in control. They routinely kept their lead and by the halftime break they were up 47-38. In the third quarter, Norrkoping went on another run which gave them their greatest lead of the match. Plannja players simply had no solution for hosts defense and they have entered final 10 minutes trailing 77-59. In the last quarter, Plannja tried to make one last attempt at comeback but they simply could not do it. Norrkoping routinely closed the match out for the final 14 point margin win and they started with big celebration.
Oladapo Ayuba (198-F-86, college: UMKC) with 28 points and George Gervin (189-G-76, college: Houston) with 25 led the winners to the title. They got help from Mikael Lindquist (193-G-83, agency: Court Side) and Kenneth Grant (188-G-82, college: Davidson) who who added 13 and 10 points respectively. On the other side, not even 21 points by Brandon McKnight (188-G-83, agency: Promotex, college: Purdue) or 20 by John Williamson (198-C-86, college: Cincinnati) could save visitors from loss. John Rosendahl (203-F/C-77, college: Wyoming) and Jim Enbom (195-F-76) also had a decent game as they scored 11 and 10 points in loss.

Norrkoping: Oladapo Ayuba 28, George Gervin 25, Mikael Lindquistt 13, Kenneth Grant 10, Fred Drains 9, Joakim Kjellbom 8, Anton Saks 2, Joseph McNaull 2
Plannja: Brandon McKnight 21, John Williamson 20, John Rosendahl 11, Jim Enbom 10, Johan Akesson 8, Vesa Makalainen 4, Hakan Larsson 4, Gustav Nystrm 3, Christoffer Ryan 2
