    Dragons beat Dolphins in Game 7, win Basketligan title - May 6, 2011 

    Finals, Game 7: Sundsvall - Norrkoping 102-83
    Sundsvall Dragons outplayed Norrkoping Dolphins 102-83 in decisive Game Seven taking back the Basketligan title. Last time the Dragons were champions two years ago. Jakob Sigurdarson (192-G-82, college: Birmingham Souther) was the leading player in victory with 31 points. He made 7 of 11 attempts from behind the arc. Liam Rush (202-F/G-82) had 18 points and 8 boards, while Alex Wesby (196-G-80, agency: R.H.Consultancy, college: Temple) and Johan Jeansson (197-G-85) helped with 14 points each. In the loosing squad, Fred Drains (195-F-71, college: Kean) collected 21 points and 7 boards. Oladapo Ayuba (198-F-86, college: UMKC) followed him with 17 points and 7 rebs, and Anton Saks (200-G-89, agency: Lanshire Group) scored 15 pts. Sundsvall Dragons had impressive first half and question about the winner was resolved already at that time. The hosts made 32-15 lead in the first ten minutes and jumped to plus 22 until the halftime. It was too much for Dolphins and Dragons grabbed second Basketligan title in their history. Last season, Norrkoping was the champion. Sundsvall Dragons were the regular season champions with 29-7 record. They eliminated Jamtland 3-2 in the Quarterfinals and Sodertalje 3-0 in the Semis.
