Norrkoping Dolphins are Basketligan champions. They topped Boras Basket in Game 5 of the Finals to lift the trophy. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Boras won fourth quarter 14-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American forward Karl Gamble (206-1996, college: MTSU, agency: Players Group) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). The former international point guard Felix Terins (188-1998) contributed with 10 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Norrkoping's coach Mikko Riipinen used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Norrkoping Dolphins celebrated Cup 2023/24 title in Sweden in front of 8,000 spectators. They overcame Nassjo 86:80 in a thriller.
Both teams nailed 24 points each in the first quarter, whilst Norrkoping Dolphins grabbed a 5-point lead at the halftime due to an 18-13 run in the second period. Norrkoping Dolphins posted 22 points in the third and then in the last stanza to seal the trophy.
