Sandra Frau-Garcia's triple-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Spanish Sandra Frau-Garcia (170-G-2003) had a great game in the last round for Onsala Pirates BBK Kungsbacka and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 23-year old guard recorded a triple-double of 23 points adding also 11 rebounds and 10 assists, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Brahe (#11, 0-5) with 36-point margin 100-64. Thanks to this victory Onsala moved-up to the 5th position in Swedish Damligan. They are still close to the very top. Onsala would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 4-1 record. In the team's last game Frau-Garcia had a remarkable 58.3% from 2-point range. She turned to be Onsala's top player in her first season with the team. Stony Brook University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Frau-Garcia is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 8.6rpg) and averages solid 7.0spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international forward Amanda Kantzy (186-F-1996) of KFUM Uppsala Basket. Kantzy impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 16 rebounds. Of course she led Uppsala to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked AIK Basket (#9, 1-4) 89-59. This victory allowed Uppsala to move up to 7th position in the standings. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 2-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Kantzy is a newcomer at Uppsala and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Natalie Villaflor (178-G-1999) of top-ranked Alvik Basket Stockholm. She was a key player of Alvik Basket, leading her team to a 81-67 easy win against #3 ranked Sodertalje in a game of the week. Alvik Basket started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Villaflor turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Villaflor has a great season in Sweden. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.5ppg (3rd best) and assists with 5.8apg (2nd best).
