Fenerbahce celebrated KBSL title. They beat Hatay on the road in Game 3 to complete the sweep of the championship series. Fenerbahce dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Hatay's 26. It was a good game for American center Jantel Lavender (191-88, college: Ohio St.) who led her team to a victory with 21 points and 5 rebounds. Hungarian-American guard Allie Quigley (178-86, college: De Paul) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Australian point guard Natalie Hurst (164-83) answered with 20 points and 6 assists and naturalized American swingman Bahar Ozturk (183-84, college: Connecticut, agency: 1x1 Sports) added 19 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Hatay. Fenerbahce celebrated the Turkish Cup title. They overcame their cross-town rivals Galatasaray in the Final tonight. Allie Quigley (178-G-86, college: De Paul) nailed 17 points to pace the winners. Fenerbahce eked out a 20:18 lead after the opening quarter. They boosted the margin in the second term. Fenerbahce accumulated a 35:32 halftime advantage. Galatasaray narrowed the gap in the third term. They pulled within a single point at the final intermission. But Fenerbahce limited their opponents to just 13 points in the fourth quarter and raced to the triumph. Marissa Coleman (185-G/F-87, college: Maryland) provided 16 points, while Jantel Lavender (191-C-88, college: Ohio St.) had 15 points in the victory.
