Canada - Latvia 60-57 OT
Game was opened with 15:11 for Canada but Latvia responded in 2nd quarter with 8:17. Latvia was leading after first half with 23:29 but Canada managed to won two remaining quarters by 3 points and that how have the addition of 5 minutes to grab victory. They succeed in that and they won over time with 10:7. With this victory after over time, Canada is still perfect with 2-0, while Latvia had their second lose in same amount of games. In Canada best was Leaticia Amihere (185-C) with 18 points and 21 (!!!) rebounds. For Latvia Mara Mote (160-F-00) counted until 16 points and have also 6 rebounds on this game.

Group B
Mexico - France 27-65

France is back in the game with this victory and they are now on 1-1 record as they lose against China in Round 1. Mexico again lose the game and they are 0-2 on this tournament. France started strongly, winning 3 quarters in the row. They allowed Mexico to score only 7 points in first two quarters for 6:30 on half time. In third quarter they are played even better, wining that period of the game with 6:23 and that how at that point they are all celebrating their first victory on this tournament. Final result was 65:27. For France 11 players scored at least 2 points, while Tima Pouye (176-F/G-99) scored 12 with 4 rebounds and Clara Bretagne (170-PG-99), starting five for France scored 9 points with 4 assists. In Mexico Sofia Payan (167-SF-00) scored 6 points and Diana Cano (186-C-99) 7.

China - Australia 41-66
Easy job for Australia on this game and another victory for 2-0 record in Group B. China is now on 1-1. It's seems everything was decided after only 10 minutes when Australia won 1st quarter with 21:5. They stayed focused and play on high level also in 2nd quarter as they won that part of the game with also two digit difference, this time 17:6. It was all clear after first half. China only managed to won last quarter with 13:12 but that was not even close enough to make this game go into interesting finish. In Australia most efficient was Samantha Simons (183-F/C-00) with 16 points and Eziyoda Magbegor (176-F/G-99) with 12 points and 8 rebounds. For China Wang Jiaqi (170-G-99) stop on 18 points alongside her name. She also had 4 rebounds and 3 assists for losing team.
