Semifinals
USA - Australia 60-73
Maybe someone is surprised but for sure not Australian players who believed in self and win this big game for their National Team. They controlled every quarter and didn't let USA to put their energy in the match. Half time was done by Australia leading by 9 (27:36) and they just increased difference at the end of third quarter by 4 more. In last ten minutes result was tied (14:14) and that was more then enough for Australia win in total of 73:60. Winning side was lead by Jazmin Shelley (174-G/F-00) with contributing 23 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assist while Eziyoda Magbegor (176-F/G-99) had 10 points and 10 rebounds. For losing side
Nelson Oddoda-Olivia (193-C-00) had 17 points and 10 rebounds. USA will be playing for bronze medal against China.

Italy - China 62-51
Sara Madera (186-C-00) lead European side to glory by putting 21 point into the basket and catches 8 rebounds. She helped Italian National Team to win this big game in semifinals against China with 11 points. She was helped by Valeria Trucco (190-C-99) with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Italian side had 10 rebounds more then China (42-32). Also, they let China win only first quarter (9:12), they won all remaining ones. For losing Asian side best was Han XU (200-C-99) with 13 points and 15 rebounds. Italy will be playing against Australia in big final and battle for gold medal.
Places 5-8
France - Czech Republic 55-62

Veronika Sipova (181-PG-98) lead Czech to another win on this tournament, this time against France. She didn't have miss for two points (5/5) and she scored 10 points with 3 assists. For losing side Emmanuelle Tahane (180-F-99) scored 16 points but that was not enough for win against Czech Republic as they win this game by 7, even when France was leading on half time with 11 points, Czech make big return and win second 20 minutes of the game by 17 points. Czech will play against Spain to decide who will finish on 5th place on World Cup.

Canada - Spain 72-75
Pretty interesting game for battle from 5th to 8th place. Spain won this game by only 3 point difference and will play against Czech Republic which will decide who will be 5th and who will be 6th place on this tournament. After losing this game, Canada will face France in game decider for 7 and 8 place. In this game, decider was last quarter which Spain won by 10 (15:25) and that give them win with 3 point margin. Spain side was led by Silvia Serrat (183-G-99) with 16 points and 10 rebounds, Sofia Galeron (186-PF-99) had also good game with 17 points and 6 rebounds. For losing side Roxane Makolo (170-PG-00) scored 10 points and had 6 rebounds for best index ranking (15) in Canadian team.
Places 9-10
Latvia - Japan 67-72
Japan win this game and finished tournament on 9th position. Mayuko Fujinaga (178-SG-99) had huge game with 19 points and 6 rebounds and she was followed by Mai Yamamoto (162-PG-99) with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. For losing team Aleksa Gulbe (184-F/C-00) nipped 20 points and had 8 rebounds, also Nikola Ozola (172-G-00) scored 17 points.
Places 11-12
Mali - Portugal 69-47
Last game for Mali on this tournament and they finish it with a nice win against Portugal for 11th place on World Cup. They flushed 69 points and allowing Portugal only 47. Salimatou Kourouma (175-G/F-99) had 19 points and 14 rebounds for winning team and Mariana Silva (182-PF-99) for Portugal scored 5 points and had 8 rebounds which gives her total number of 8 index points which was highest in losing team. Portugal finished tournament on 12 place.
Places 13-14
Mexico - Brazil 39-64
For the game who deciding who will be 13, Brazil was more successful then Mexico and they won this match without much trouble. They won it three out of four quarters with huge difference and that was enough in this game. Emanuely De Oliveira (180-SG-99) scored 17 points and had 5 rebounds and Raphaella Da Silva (186-C-99) had 12 points and same number of rebounds. For losing team Maria Ruiz (171-SG-99) had 18 points.
