The FIBA U17 Women's Skills Challenge 2020, taking place from August 18-23, features 16 national teams from across the globe competing for top honors. While some teams qualified for the event directly, others had to go through Regional Qualifiers and will have a few more games under their belt ahead of the Global Challenge. There are only two candidates left in the race for the first-ever FIBA U17 Women's Skills Challenge title, with China and Poland defeating their respective opponents in the Semi-Finals to set up an intercontinental duel for the throne on Sunday. After registering the best score in the Quarter-Finals, China were on the front foot in the Semi-Finals as well, topping Lithuania 122-153. Meanwhile, Poland got the better of Spain in the other Semi-Final matchup, topping their European rivals 129-134. The Final between China and Poland will not be the only challenge that takes place on Sunday, with Lithuania and Spain set to play for third-place.
