Germany - Slovenia 100-71

Germany stayed undefeated at the 2023 World Cup stage. They sailed past Slovenia to enter the quarterfinal stage with a perfect record. Dennis Schroeder (181-PG-1993) finished with 24 points and 10 assists for the winners.
Slovenia looked solid in the first period as they jumped off to a 25-11 lead after ten minutes. But Germany bounced back quickly. They responded with a 27-9 rally in the second term to secure a 38-34 halftime advantage. Germany opened the second half on a massive 23-8 rally to clear off. They entered the final frame up by 16 points 68-52. Germany unloaded 32 points in the fourth stanza and gave no chance for Slovenia to come back into this one. Daniel Theis (206-F/C-1992) recorded 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Luka Doncic (201-G-1999) topscored with 23 points for Slovenia. Klemen Prepelic (191-SG-1992) banked in 12 points in the loss.
