Spain earned the fourth consecutive victory at the 2027 World Cup Qualifiers. They outscored Ukraine to stay undefeated in Group A. Francis Alonso (191-SG-1996, college: UNCG) paced well-balanced effort from the hosts with 12 points. Jaime Fernandez (186-PG-1993), Pierre Oriola (208-F/C-1992, agency: Octagon Europe) and Fran Guerra (214-C-1992) had 10 points each for the home side.
Spain kept Ukraine in check throughout the first half. The hosts held their opponents to just 21 points to take a 7-point lead. Spain then exploded with 50 points after the big break and raced to the victory.
Andrii Voinalovych (207-PF-1999) produced 12 points, while Oleksandr Kovliar (191-PG-2002) tossed in 11 points for Ukraine.
