The teams went neck and neck throughout the first period. Canada snatched a 26-24 lead heading into the second quarter. Neither side was able to create separation in the second stanza. Slovenia and Canada went into the dressing rooms tied at 50. But Canada opened the third frame on a 19-5 run to open a double-digit lead. Slovenia stopped the bleeding and narrowed the deficit at 9-point mark heading into the fourth stanza. Luka Doncic answered with 26 points, while Klemen Prepelic (191-SG-1992) tossed in 22 points for Slovenia.
