Lithuania - Slovenia 100:84

Lithuania overcame Slovenia 100:84 in the classification round of the 2023 World Cup. Lithuania will play for 5th place in the competition against Latvia in a Baltic teams battle. Lithuania opened the game with a 33-21 lead and led by 10 points at halftime. The Baltic team won the third quarter and finally put the game to bed in fourth frame. Jonas Valanciunas (213-C-1992) led the way for Lithuania, finishing the game with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Ignas Brazdeikis (201-G/F-1999, college: Michigan) notched 15, whilst Mindaugas Kuzminskas (205-PF-1989) poured in 14. Luka Doncic (201-G-1999) replied with 29 points for Slovenia, Aleksej Nikolic (191-PG-1995) had 14 and Mike Tobey (213-F/C-1994, college: Virginia) added 13.
