FIBA World Cup 2027 Qualifiers groups confirmed

The draw for the FIBA World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers took place on May 13 in Doha, giving us a clearer view of the "Road to Qatar." Eight groups of four teams have been formed, with games set to be played across six FIBA windows. The European Qualifiers will run from November 2025 to March 2027, and 12 nations will earn a spot in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027. Eight European Qualifier teams are still to be determined through European Pre-Qualifiers. This upcoming edition of the World Cup will make history as the first ever to be hosted in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Qatar will welcome the world's best from August 27 to September 12, 2027.

Greece, Montenegro, Portugal, WPQB

Group C:
Serbia, Turkiye, Bosnia and Herzegovina, 2PQA

Group D:
