Lineup complete for FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers- August 21, 2025The full lineup is now set for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers after the Second Round of Pre-Qualifiers were completed on Wednesday. Austria, Croatia, Denmark, Hungary, Netherlands, Romania, Switzerland and Ukraine are the eight teams to advance and join the 24 teams that had already secured their spots by qualifying for FIBA EuroBasket 2025. Those teams have now been placed into their respective pre-determined groups, with the draw having taken place in May, earlier this year. Group A: Denmark, Georgia, Ukraine, Spain Group B: Greece, Montenegro, Portugal, Romania Group C: Serbia, Türkiye, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Switzerland Group D: Great Britain, Italy, Iceland, Lithuania Group E: Croatia, Germany, Israel, Cyprus Group F: Latvia, Poland, Austria, Netherlands Group G: Hungary, France, Belgium, Finland Group H: Slovenia, Czechia, Sweden, Estonia
The First Round of the European Qualifiers will commence with the first of three windows in November 2025, with the following windows taking place in February-March 2026 and July 2026.
