Croatia celebrated the third consecutive victory at the 2027 World Cup European Qualifiers. They held off visiting Germany for 3-0 record atop of Group E. Dario Saric (208-F/C-1994) posted 23 points and 7 rebounds, while Mario Hezonja (202-F-1995) accounted for 21 points for the hosts.
Germany jumped to a 26-20 lead after ten minutes of action. Croatia poured in 26 points in the second period to cut the deficit at 4 points. The home side erupted for 29 points in the third stanza to take a 75-72 lead at the final break. Germany surged ahead midway through the fourth period 84-83. But Croatia answered with 8 straight points to clear off for good.
David Kramer (196-G/F-1997) banked in 22 points and 8 rebounds, while Johannes Thiemann (206-PF-1994) provided 17 points for Germany.
