Germany - Croatia 91-89 (OT)

Germany bounced back from the loss to Croatia on Friday and defeated them in Bonn today. Johannes Thiemann (206-PF-1994) posted 24 points and 12 rebounds to pace the hosts. Oscar Da Silva (205-F/C-1998, college: Stanford) was helpful with 15 points and 11 rebounds in the victory.
Croatia looked the dominant side in the first half. The visitors piled up a 50-41 halftime lead. But Germany stiffened defensively in the second half. They held Croatia to just 27 points in the next two quarters. David Kramer (196-G/F-1997) drained a three-pointer with 63 seconds left in regulation to force overtime. Germany poured in 14 points in the extra period and got away with the win.
Mario Hezonja (202-F-1995) stepped up with 30 points, while Roko Badzim (194-SG-1997) chipped in 14 points in the loss.
