There was no surprise when 8th rankedBC Vienna (3-7) was crushed on the road by third ranked Gunners Oberwart (7-2) 98-78 on Saturday. Oberwart forced 19 Vienna turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Robert Allen (206-2000, college: N.Texas, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Ziggy Reid (198-2000, college: YSU, agency: Inception Sports) helped adding 23 points and 5 rebounds. American point guard Zac Owens (180-1998, college: Bethel, IN) responded with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and Serbian Ivan Gavrilovic (205-1996) scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains third place with 7-2 record having just two points less than leader Wels. Vienna lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Kapfenberg.
