Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Michaela Wildbacher (175-1998, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international forward Pia Jurhar (192-1995, college: Portland St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Ukrainian guard Ninel Merkotun (172-2005) replied with 10 points and Ukrainian guard Oryna Bolotnikova (175-2005) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Vienna United. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BK Duchess have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 8-1 record having just one point less than leader UBI Graz. Vienna United at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost.
