The game in Vienna was also quite interesting. Fourth rankedDBB Wels (5-5) played at the court of 5th ranked Flames (3-6). DBB Wels defeated Flames 63-52 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized Ukrainian power forward Inga Orekhova (188-1989, college: S.Florida) who led the winners and scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Emma Stockinger (172-2006) accounted for 13 points for the winning side. DBB Wels' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Montenegrin center Agatija Vukicevic (194-2003) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds and guard Stella Popp (178-2001, college: Albany) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Basket Flames in the defeat. DBB Wels moved-up to third place, which they share with DBBC Graz. Basket Flames lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth position with six games lost. DBB Wels will meet league's second-placed BK Duchess in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Basket Flames' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Vienna to the arena Vienna United.
