No shocking result in a game when first rankedMustangs (13-1) beat 6th ranked Timberwolves (7-8) in Mistelbach 90-75 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Czech center Viktor Vasat (207-1997) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 18 rebounds. Forward Ian Moschik (200-1996) accounted for 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. Forward Philipp DAngelo (198-1989) came up with 15 points and 7 rebounds and guard Daniele Kuchar (188-2004) added 13 points and 4 steals respectively for Timberwolves in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Timberwolves' coach Justin Schlunken rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Mustangs . They maintain first place with 13-1 record. Loser Timberwolves keep the sixth position with eight games lost. Mustangs will meet at home Future Team (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Timberwolves will play against Blackbirds in Jennersdorf and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
