ButLions were not able to use a home court advantage and were defeated by the opponent from Oberwart 80-69 . Traiskirchen was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Nate Pierre-Louis (193-1998, college: Temple) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 6 rebounds. The other American import guard Zek Montgomery (198-2002, college: Bradley) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Four Gunners Oberwart players scored in double figures. Latvian point guard Edgars Lasenbergs (187-1995) replied with 18 points and 4 assists and American Trejon Jacob (196-1998, college: FIU, agency: One Motive Sports) added 9 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Traiskirchen. Lions' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
