Regular Season Round 11: Klosterneuburg - Wels 76-94

Date: November 16, 2025
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Dukes (8-2) in Klosterneuburg on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Raiffeisen Flyers Wels (8-2) 94-76. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Dukes. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Wels had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American guard Marcus Azor (188-2000, college: UMass Dartmouth) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. His fellow American import forward Saiquan Jamison (203-1998, college: Bowie St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Raiffeisen Flyers Wels' coach Sebastian Waser used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Montenegrin center Dragan Bjeletic (205-1992) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian swingman Milos Vranes (201-1995, college: SEMO) added 18 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Wels keep a position of league leader, which they share with Klosterneuburg and Oberwart. Wels is looking forward to face Vienna (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Klosterneuburg will play against UBSC Graz (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
