Very expected game in Klagenfurt where 9th rankedBBU (4-6) was defeated by third ranked Worthersee Piraten (8-2) 104-100 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Worthersee forced 25 Salzburg turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. American forward Shawn Ray (196-1980, college: NCCU) fired a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 20 rebounds for the winners. Timi Huber chipped in 22 points and 5 assists. produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and Samuel Gatterbauer added 18 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Four Worthersee and five Salzburg players scored in double figures. BBU's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Worthersee maintains third position with 8-2 record having just two points less than leader Mistelbach, which they share with Kufstein. Loser BBU keeps the ninth place with six games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams.
