Not a big story in a game in Wels where 13th ranked Ballers (3-11) were defeated by third ranked Towers (12-2) 91-75 on Sunday. Latvian Pauls Miglinieks (193-2000) scored 23 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Hungarian guard Mate Horvath (182-2003, agency: Highlight Athletes) chipped in 19 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Towers players scored in double figures. Forward Luis Streitberger (197-2006) responded with 23 points and 6 rebounds and Portuguese power forward Bruno Fernando (200-1996) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Towers have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Kufstein moved-up to second place, which they share with Wagram. Ballers lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Steiermark. Kufstein will meet Wagram (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Ballers will play against Guessing (#15) in Jennersdorf and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
