Not a big story in a game when 13th rankedSteiermark (3-12) lost at home to ninth ranked Timberwolves (7-8) 91-83 on Sunday. Timberwolves looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Janis Tomaschek (195-2001) who led the winners and scored 18 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Guard Valentin Siegmund (193-2003) accounted for 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Naturalized American guard Justin McCaw (190-1998) came up with 32 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and guard Benedict Von Housewald (189-1998) added 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively for Steiermark in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Timberwolves moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Traiskirchen. Loser Steiermark keeps the thirteenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Guessing and Ballers.
