Date: February 7, 2026
An exciting game was played in Wels. Second ranked UBI Graz faced 4th placed DBB Wels. Guests from Graz (10-3) defeated host DBB Wels (7-7) 70-65. The best player for the winners was Ukrainian Khrystyna Kulesha (185-2004) who scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Simone Schwarzinger (177-1996) chipped in 13 points. Four UBI Graz players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Sophia Kuranovic (182-2010) who recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and Ivona Pilic (180-2009) added 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. DBB Wels' coach Damir Kuranovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. UBI Graz maintains second place with 10-3 record having five points less than leader BK Duchess. DBB Wels at the other side keep the fourth position with seven games lost. UBI Graz are looking forward to face league's leader BK Duchess in Klosterneuburg in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. DBB Wels will play on the road against Basket Flames in Vienna and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
