We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when Nord Dragonz was defeated on the road by Furstenfeld Panthers 85-74. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian swingman Filip Bjelanovic (200-2002) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. Guard Valentin Pils (185-2004) contributed with 28 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Dogus Demirel (200-2004) answered with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Hungarian swingman Csaba Fazekas (196-1999) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Eisenstadt. Four Eisenstadt players scored in double figures. Furstenfeld Panthers will play against St.Poelten on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Nord Dragonz will play against Gmunden and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
