Very expected game in Deutsch-Wagram where 16th rankedRapid (2-17) was crushed by third ranked Alligators (15-4) 92-62 on Saturday. Wagram forced 22 Rapid turnovers and outrebounded them 42-28 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Wagram looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard Simon Marek (180-2001) fired 27 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Center Harald Schmitt (208-2002) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Four Alligators players scored in double figures. Serbian guard Radomir Djurdjevic (193-1991) produced 10 points and Armin Zebardjedan added 10 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
