The game in Vienna was quite interesting. Second rankedMustangs (16-3) played at the court of 6th ranked United (12-7). Mustangs did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 99-80 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of United. 24 personal fouls committed by United helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for Czech center Zdenek Nehyba (197-1995) who led his team to a victory scoring 31 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Ian Moschik (200-1996) helped adding 23 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side forward Mathias Mailath-Pokorny (203-2002, college: Colby CC) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and Czech Jakub Kotala (185-2001) scored 17 points. Four United players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mistelbach maintains second place with 16-3 record having just one point less than leader Kufstein. United at the other side keeps the sixth position with seven games lost.
