The game in Gmunden was also quite interesting. 7th rankedLions (14-10) played at the court of eighth ranked Gmunden Swans (15-9). Gmunden Swans did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 90-72 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Lions. Gmunden dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Lions 's 26. Gmunden looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Traiskirchen 's players. American forward Jerome Hunter (203-1999, college: Xavier, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) nailed 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import Larry Wise (196-2000, college: WTAM) accounted for 18 points and 5 assists. Latvian Davids Viksne (195-2000) came up with 17 points and 7 rebounds and Latvian point guard Edgars Lasenbergs (187-1995) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Traiskirchen in the defeat. Five Gmunden and four Traiskirchen players scored in double figures. Lions' coach let to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Gmunden Swans . They moved-up to seventh place. Loser Lions dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost.
