No shocking result in a game when seventh rankedGmunden Swans (17-9) beat at home 9th ranked UBC St. Poelten (7-20) 103-94 on Saturday. Gmunden looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by the former international guard Daniel Friedrich (181-1992) who scored that evening 23 points and 9 assists and American forward Jeameril Wilson (203-1999, college: Loyola, IL) supported him with 21 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Even 28 points and 9 rebounds by American forward Judah Brown (198-2002, college: USA) did not help to save the game for St.Poelten . His fellow American import point guard Richard Williams Jr (178-1987, college: SDSU) added 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests. Five Gmunden and four St.Poelten players scored in double figures. Gmunden Swans have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 17-9 record. Loser UBC St. Poelten keeps the ninth place with 20 games lost.
