NBL top team -Rilski (8-0) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Shumen (0-7) 103-73 . Rilski dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Shumen 's 34 and made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Shumen 62-27 including a 24-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Rilski looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Shumen 's players. The winners were led by American power forward Jordan Session (203-1996, college: Georgia St.) who scored that evening 26 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Croatian-Bosnian forward Jure Planinic (206-2000, agency: AltusBasket) supported him with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Even a double-double of 15 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks by American Rey Idowu (207-1999, college: Tulsa) did not help to save the game for Shumen . His fellow American import guard Mike Williams (188-1996, college: Rutgers) added 18 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rilski have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 8-0 record. Loser Shumen still closes the standings with seven games lost.
