An interesting game forBalkan (5-2) which hosted in Botevgrad one of their biggest challengers Minyor 2015 (4-3). Third ranked Balkan had an easy win 82-65 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Minyor 2015. Balkan made 22-of-27 charity shots (81.5 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Minyor 2015 45-26 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Minyor 2015 was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Tyere Marshall (206-1997, college: Rider) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and the former international point guard Konstantin Toshkov (186-2002, agency: BIG) who added 12 points and 5 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) during the contest. Balkan's coach Vasil Hristov allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international Borislav Mladenov (202-2000, agency: Interperformances) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Cody Schwartz (203-1997, college: Green Bay) scored 11 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Balkan moved-up to second place, which they share with Beroe. Minyor 2015 at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Akademik.
