Regular Season Round 21: Apollon - ENAD 82-86

There was a minor upset in Limassol where 5th ranked Apollon (9-12) was defeated by seventh ranked ENAD (5-15) 86-82. It looked good early as Apollon took an 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then ENAD had a 25-5 second period charge getting the lead and Apollon was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 82-86. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Apollon to just 5 points in second quarter. ENAD made 26-of-31 charity shots (83.9 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American-Spanish power forward Lewis Sims (203-73, college: New Orleans) who led his team to a victory with 28 points and 7 rebounds. American point guard Vernon Hamilton (183-84, college: Clemson) contributed with 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American guard Andrew Warren (195-87, college: Bradley) answered with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import guard Luke Loucks (196-90, college: Florida St.) added 15 points and 8 assists in the effort for Apollon. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. ENAD maintains seventh place with 5-15 record. Apollon at the other side keeps the fifth position with 12 games lost.
