Semi-Finals Game 2: Enosis - Keravnos 76-96
Date: April 8, 2017
Keravnos cruised past Enosis on the road to open 2-0 lead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Keravnos. Enosis was better in fourth quarter 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Keravnos especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Enosis' players. Americans were the main players on the court. Point guard Ronald Ross (188-83, college: Texas Tech) notched 20 points and 4 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and forward Jake OBrien (206-89, college: Temple, agency: HMS) supported him with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Five Keravnos players scored in double figures. Keravnos' coach Christoforos Livadiotis allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists by power forward Maurice Pearson (206-89, college: Georgetown, KY, agency: HMS) did not help to save the game for Enosis. Point guard Eric Washington (178-93, college: Miami, OH) added 23 points and 6 assists for the hosts.
