The most crucial game of the last round was a loss ofAPOP in Paphou on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Etha 69-55 . The game without a history. Etha led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to APOP 's 30. Etha forced 20 APOP turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Ioanna Kyprianou (168-2003) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 assists. American forward Paris Mullins (188-2001, college: Norfolk St.) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Etha's coach Skevi Georgiou used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international Panagiota Themistokleous (185-2000) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Maritsa Efstathiou (168-1998) added 12 points in the effort for APOP.
