Semi-Finals Game 1: AEL - APOP 70-56

Date: March 1, 2025
The game was mostly controlled by AEL. APOP was better in fourth quarter 15-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. AEL players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The former international forward Tijana Raca (182-1997, college: Wyoming) nailed 22 points and 4 assists (made all of her seven free throws) for the winning side and Croatian-Bosnian center Jovana Mandic (192-1992, college: Nicholls) accounted for 13 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Four AEL players scored in double figures. AEL's coach Michalis Kounounis allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Mariah Miller (182-1998, college: CSU) came up with 21 points and 7 rebounds and the former international Panagiota Themistokleous (185-2000) added 9 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for APOP in the defeat.
