AEL looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Zaay Green (188-2000, college: Alabama) stepped up and scored 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and Greek power forward Nefeli Stoupa (184-1999) chipped in 15 points. AEL's coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American center DaJah Daniel (193-1998, college: GCU) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and guard Evdokia Patsalidou (163-2006) scored 16 points.
