No shocking result in a game when seventh rankedCopenhagen (4-4) crushed at home 10th ranked Vejen (1-6) 100-74 on Saturday. Copenhagen outrebounded Vejen 45-27 including a 18-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Copenhagen looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Vejen 's players. The winners were led by the former international point guard Martin Poulsen (195-1998, college: Mt.St.Mary's) who scored that evening 22 points and 5 assists and supported him with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists by Swedish guard Elias Weibert (193-2001) did not help to save the game for Vejen . American-Iranian guard Neema Namdar (188-1997, college: HPU) added 20 points for the guests. Four Vejen players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Copenhagen moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Vaerlose. Vejen lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. They share it with Holbaek-Stenhus.
