Dameligaen top team -Falcon (13-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat fifth ranked Amager (3-12) in Copenhagen 71-54 . Falcon held Amager to an opponent 20.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 36.2 percent accuracy of the winners. It was a quality performance for Spanish guard Celia Carbonell (173-2001, college: FDU) who led the winners and scored 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Adda Toney (174-2007) accounted for 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Isabella Palmqvist (182-2004, college: SIU) came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) and international forward Annemie Espensen (180-1997) added 4 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Amager in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Falcon . Defending champion maintains first place with 13-2 record. Amager at the other side keeps the fifth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Horsholm.
