Second Stage Round 1: Vaerlose - Vejen 79-92

There was a surprise result when Vejen beat on the road Vaerlose 92-79 on Saturday. Vejen forced 21 Vaerlose turnovers. American forward Andrew Orr (204, college: Washburn) nailed 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists for the winning side and Swedish guard Elias Weibert (193-2001) accounted for 24 points and 7 rebounds. International guard Ogbemudia Uagboe (192-2005, agency: Octagon Europe) came up with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international guard Gustav Erichsen (197-2009) added 20 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Vaerlose in the defeat. Vejen will meet at home Bears Academy in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vaerlose will play against Herlev and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
