There was no surprise in Kastrup whereAmager (3-22) was edged by Vaerlose (13-12) 109-107 on Saturday. Vaerlose made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for international guard Ogbemudia Uagboe (192-2005, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 41 points (!!!) and 9 assists (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!). Forward Gustav Halbye (200) helped adding 13 points and 9 rebounds. Vaerlose's coach Jonas Sorensen used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was guard Anders Jellesmark (187) with 39 points (!!!) and 8 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Oscar Quackenbush (187-1999) scored 30 points and 6 assists. Five Vaerlose and four Amager players scored in double figures.
