There was a minor upset when 9th rankedVejen (8-20) was edged at home by bottom-ranked Amager (5-23) 84-82 on Sunday. Amager looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Isaiah Burnett (195-1999, college: Stonehill) who scored 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Oscar Quackenbush (187-1999) chipped in 22 points, 9 assists and 6 steals. Amager's coach Pat Ryan used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Swedish guard Elias Weibert (193-2001) who recorded 25 points and 6 rebounds and American-Iranian guard Neema Namdar (188-1997, college: HPU) added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists respectively. Four Vejen players scored in double figures. Despite that victory Amager went down to twelfth position due to points difference. Newly promoted Vejen keeps the ninth place with 20 games lost.
