Third-rankedSvendborg (20-8) gave a tough game to second ranked Naestved (24-5) on Monday. Naestved managed to secure only two-point victory 92-90 . However their fans expected easier game. Naestved looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Samuel Tabe (196, college: USA) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Victor Searls (206, college: Ohio, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Kyreese Willingham (196, college: MSU) with 26 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and international guard Adam Heede-Andersen (187-1996, college: St.Cloud St., agency: BIG) scored 20 points and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Naestved maintains second position with 24-5 record having just one point less than leader Vaerlose. Svendborg at the other side keeps the third place with eight games lost. Naestved will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Svendborg will play at home against Copenhagen and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
