Bottom-rankedHolbaek-Stenhus managed to get a sixth victory, breaking the two-game losing streak on Wednesday night. This time they won against tenth-ranked Herlev 80-65 . It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 15-point difference suggests that Holbaek-Stenhus is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. Holbaek-Stenhus outrebounded Herlev 46-29 including 35 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American swingman Michael McCalister (196, college: Embry Riddle) who had a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds. The other American import guard Forte Prater (190, college: Roosevelt, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Holbaek-Stenhus' coach Madro Garcia used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Bahamas Wilkenson Isnord (204-2000, agency: Momentum SM) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and Per Brandt (201-2004) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Four Herlev players scored in double figures. Holbaek-Stenhus (6-22) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with defeated Herlev. Herlev lost seventh consecutive game.
